Cherry Tree Primary School is located to the south of Lymm village. The grounds include a large playground, an extensive field, two football pitches, a gazebo/outside teaching area, a pirate ship, adventure trail and trim trail, an allotment, a quiet area, planted woodland and a wild flower area. Following a recent refurbishment, all of our classes are now in closed classrooms. We also have a library and two enclosed art areas that can be used for separate teaching, as well as our outside gazebo. Our Reception class has an enclosed, partially covered outside area for creative and active play. All Children come together each day for assemblies and play times. We have one class per year group. Most of our classes conain 30 children. The pupils spend much of the time with their own class teacher covering the curriculum through whole class teaching and group work, although they may change teachers for specialist subjects such as PE and French.
