We exist to inspire curiosity and questioning, a love of learning and the courage to speak out, confidence in problem solving and innovation along with an appreciation of the people and the world around us. Founded in 1902 by the brother of the then Head of Winchester College, Copthorne Prep began its life as a small boys' prep school feeding into Winchester College. Copthorne Prep has many policies in place to ensure the best possible care for both pupils and staff. The people that teach, support, inspire and care for our pupils are the heartbeat of our school. They are here to guide, nurture and encourage every step of the pupil journey from Nursery through to moving on to senior school at Year 6. With 'excellence for all' as one of our values, you can imagine how gratifying it was when ISI inspectors rated us 'Excellent' in all areas in our most recent inspection.
