About
School overview

Welcome to Bruton Primary School, where we are focused on raising achievement by working together. Welcome to Bruton Primary School, we hope it will give you an insight into our school. Our school is in Bruton, a small historic town situated in the Brue Valley in South Somerset. All of our staff and governors work hard to make our school one that is safe and nurturing as well as stimulating and exciting for our children. Our new curriculum encompasses the demands of the Curriculum 2014 which is enhanced and developed to match the needs of our children through a range of Quests we believe that all children have the potential to become confident and independent learners. We try to support them to strive for this and start them on a journey of exploration that will last them a lifetime. This enquiry based learning is supported by the development of Personal, Learning and Thinking skills (PLTs) which are skills believed to prepare our children for the world in which we send them.
