Welcome to Beck – a big school with a big heart and big ambitions! We are committed to ensuring that every child enjoys exceptional and memorable experiences and develops the skills, knowledge and attributes they will need in later life. Beck Primary is a large primary school in north Sheffield. There are three classes in each year group from Foundation Stage 2 (Reception) to Year 6 as well as a large 3-year-old nursery and a 2-year-old nursery called Little Beck. In addition, the school hosts the Beck Burrow, part of Cascade Multi-Academy Trust's Integrated Resource for children with an Education Health Care Plan for social communication needs. The school was built in the 1930s to serve the Shiregreen estate – one of the council estates built to house families moving out of the industrial areas of the city. The original school building has grown and developed over time to accommodate increasing numbers of children. All classes are now arranged in the main school building with a separate nursery building. The school works closely with the Shiregreen Neighbourhood Centre which shares the site.
