Educ8 provide independent Alternative Education schools across England to support learners at risk of exclusion, or who are disengaged from mainstream education. Initially formed in Leicester in 2009 by Jevon Payne and Tim Warner, Educ8 Leicester provided a single vocational sports programme as a part time alternative provision. Educ8 has since become a national independent provider that has developed both its vocational offer and broader curriculum across 5 locations. It has expanded its governance team from 2 to 8 with experience in school improvement, safeguarding, teaching and learning, finance, childcare, and human resources to name but a few. To support each young person to prepare for and succeed in their next steps in life.
