Headteacher's Letter Dear Parents/Carers, On behalf of all staff and governors I extend a warm welcome to you. Our recent Ofsted Report (November 2023) sums up our school, "All pupils receive an education that provides them with the best possible start in life. Pupils have a real pride in the school and, they are extremely polite and well-mannered" , (Ofsted November 2023) and staff work with absolute passion. We have earned our 5th outstanding Ofsted! Beecroft really is a very special place, and you will need to see the strong partnership between teachers, pupils and parents yourself. Ofsted says, "Pupils take on active leadership roles and influence the school." (Ofsted November 2023). Pupil voice is important, and we have a School Council, Sports Council, Art Council, Mentors and IT Warriors. Creativity is also an important part of the curriculum at Beecroft Primary School. We believe subjects like design technology, music, art and drama are vitally important for children to develop imagination, resourcefulness, problem solving and team-work. To this end we have a purpose built and fully equipped design and technology and art room. We are very proud that all children learn to play a musical instrument. Our school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children and we expect our staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
