Brookside is a Community Primary School on the outskirts of Clitheroe and has an excellent reputation within the community. Here at Brookside we strive to attain excellence in a happy, caring, secure and dynamic community, where all are encouraged to fulfil the school aim which is to provide every opportunity possible to ensure that each person has every chance of achieving their full potential. We have a positive inclusive ethos and set high expectations in all areas of life and as a result we achieve high standards. The behaviour of our children is regarded as excellent and they are motivated and keen to learn. We are involved in many new initiatives and are always seeking out ways to move the school forward. Our Governing Body is very supportive and we have a Parent Teacher Association, Friends of Brookside, which works enthusiastically in raising extra funds for the school. Our staff are dedicated, ensuring that each child gets the best possible education.
