The following staff members work with your children in Class R: Phonics Book Filters - Reception Spring 2 Week 1 (we're ahead of schedule due to the long terms!) We have been reading The Smeds and The Smoos in our lessons and using this book as inspiration for some of our learning about Space. We had a Smeds and Smoos day where we made and decorated Smed or Smoo headbands and made brown bread. We then had a Smeds and Smoos tea party where we ate our brown bread with green stew, pink milk and black tea! We went on a very fun Winter Walk to see how the area had changed since Autumn. We found lots of big muddy puddles to jump in! We have been having so much fun learning about Space! We made Space Passports for our Role Play area and aliens out of clay.
