Lydden Primary School is a small rural village school catering for children between the ages of 4-11. Children learn together in four mixed age classes. We aspire for all children to become confident, caring individuals who achieve well academically and develop a love of learning. We aim for our children to develop lifelong skills, taking responsibility for their own learning so that they can face future challenges with confidence. Sugarloaf class are having a wonder time at Kearsney Abbey today ! After reading the much-loved story We're going on a Bear Hunt, the children were excited to set out on their own adventure on the bus to the abbey . They have been exploring the grounds , swishing through grass, squelching through mud and searching for bears in the play area ! Is your child due to start school in September 2026?
