Scotts Primary School was built in 1974 to satisfy a rising demand for school places in the South of Hornchurch. We are a community school and we cater for children between the ages of 4 to 11 years of age. The school is a two form entry and has a maximum intake of 60 pupils arranged across 14 classes, from Reception to Year 6. Our compulsory hours are 8.45am - 3.15pm (32.5 hours). Each class is well equipped with interactive whiteboards, networked computer equipment and a range of brand new subject resources. We are fortunate to have large open spaces around the school, where children are free to play. These include quiet spaces, where shaded seating is available. The school has been modified with accessibility in mind- the ground floor building has ramps to enable wheelchair access and there are toilets equipped for the disabled.
