Drapers Maylands Primary School opened in September 2015 and is unique in many ways. Our school values are woven into the fabric of every-day life in school. The children work hard, have fun and develop their skills under the care of very skilled and dedicated staff. Our curriculum is enhanced by activity and exciting opportunities with a focus on the development of the whole child. Personal development and self-confidence are high on our list of priorities. Learning beyond the classroom is important to us and the curriculum is designed to spark natural curiosity, a sense of self and an understanding of the children's place in the wider world. Our school is designed for the modern child, has extensive outdoor areas and places to inspire. We use the neighbouring Nature Reserve to host our Forest School and every child is able to experience the richness of the natural world whilst developing life-long personal skills.
