This is my eighth year as Headteacher of Grange and it feels very special. The children who started in Nursery when I first arrived will now graduate at the end of this school year, and I look forward to celebrating their journey with you. Grange is a kind and welcoming school. Children often tell us that they feel safe and at home here, even when they join us later in their school years. Our vision is simple but powerful: it is not only about who we are right now, but about who we can become: We see every child as the hope for tomorrow, and we treat them accordingly. We believe true strength is character strength: learning from mistakes, reflecting, and growing. At Grange we follow restorative practice. Mistakes are not failures – they are learning opportunities that help us build resilience and wisdom. Good behaviour is not just expected; it is an attitude and collective responsibility that we all strive towards as we learn and grow together. We call this our Grange CC Way – balancing Confidence with Consideration.
