About
School overview

Mr. Cannon with our Head Girl, Keira and Head Boy, Jake. Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. It is an absolute pleasure and privilege to be the Headteacher of this wonderful school; our location on the edge of beautiful countryside makes Ridgewood a great place to be. Our students are determined learners who strive for academic excellence, and this is facilitated by a talented and sparkly team of teachers. Our motto at Ridgewood is Achieving Excellence Together and all members of our school community live this through their daily experiences at school. We want our students to dream big and aspire to be the very best version of themselves, but we recognise that excellence can come in many different forms and is a unique concept to everyone. This individual need is catered for at Ridgewood through great teaching, a wide range of extra-curricular activities, and a caring and supportive pastoral team. Our students are great to be with; that is why very few teachers leave our school! Opportunities for team building and student leadership are regular, and visitors to Ridgewood always tell us our students are special... of course, we already know that!
