Castle Academy is in Conisbrough, within Doncaster, South Yorkshire, near Barnsley and Rotherham. We're a small, welcoming school with seven classes for children aged 4 to 11. We're part of the Astrea Academy Trust, a group of schools that supports learning beyond the classroom. Astrea's values of scholarship, curiosity, tenacity, aspiration and empathy guide everything we do and help children grow into thoughtful learners. Astrea schools focus on each child's development, encouraging both academic and personal growth. The Trust's logo, a tree made of three figures reaching for a star, reflects this.
