We welcome international students to The Maynard each year. After just a few days from arriving, it often feels like theyve been here for years! International students join us in all year groups and are always fully integrated into the life of the school. International girls who are accompanied by their family join us in the Pre-Prep, Junior and Senior School, and older students join our Sixth Form via our homestay scheme. Situated in the centre of the historic university city of Exeter, close to the M5 and only just over 2 hours by train to London, we are only 15 minutes away from Exeter International Airport. The beautiful beaches of the South West are only 20 minutes away where surfing, sailing and watersports can be enjoyed at weekends. The open spaces of Dartmoor and Exmoor, as well as the cultural experiences associated with a university town (and the great shopping!), can all be enjoyed by Maynard girls, together with the school's spacious grounds which provide a tranquil and safe environment in which to study.
