Shute Community Primary School is a small rural primary school situated at one end of the picturesque village of Shute, near the town of Axminster. Shute can offer an amazing start for your child. The school can accommodate children between the ages of 3 years and 11 years across its four classes. Our Foundation Stage Unit offers nursery age provision, on site, to aid a seamless transition between Nursery and School. The school benefits from an exceptional outdoor environment that includes two playgrounds, a large school field, an organic garden and wooded area and an outdoor stage. We are currently organised in four mixed-aged classes, with a team of experienced and talented full and part-time teachers and support staff.
