At Putteridge High School and Academy we work together to ensure that every individual matters and every individual succeeds. We are a school community of over 1000 students aged 11 to 16, with over 100 adults working to provide high quality education for the young people in our care. Staff and students are proud of the school and work hard to maintain good standards. Putting students first in order to remove barriers to learning is the key responsibility of us all. The Every Child Matters approach is at the heart of our practice and we will ensure that every young person: We aim always to encourage our students to achieve their personal best and are pleased to celebrate with parents and carers a wide range of achievements. A notable strength of the school is the provision made for full integration of students with physical or visual impairment. We are committed to extending our provision for the school and wider community through school clubs, and through the extension of recreational facilities in our sports centre.
