About
School overview

Set in a stunning, sustainable and eco-friendly 45-acre site close to the New Forest and Dorset coastline, the natural surroundings of our school and college provide a rich, enabling and therapeutic learning environment for students, aged 5-25, who have a special educational need. We specialise in autism and communication difficulties, severe and complex learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge. Our mission is to create an educational, therapeutic community and environment, which upholds each persons human integrity and spiritual wholeness and where every child and young person, both because of and despite their individual challenges, has something to give and something to learn through all of their relationships with others. School students at The Sheiling Ringwood have been busy whipping up delicious handmade Oreo truffles - and they tasted every bit as good as they looked! As part of their session, students didn't just hone their culinary talents; they also developed their business skills, selling their sweet creations to staff across our site. With enticing presentation and thoughtful teamwork the group turned their treats into a successful enterprise and a very tasty learning experience! #school #college #residential #day #healthandtherapies #SEND #dorset #hampshire
