Stanton Primary School and Nursery is situated in the village of Stanton and is one of the larger primary schools in the area. We serve a rural community with a mixture of families working locally or in the nearby town of Bury St Edmunds. The village also includes some Forces housing, and therefore our children come into our school with a whole variety of different experiences. As of January 2018, 25% of children are from forces families. The school site includes our own school Nursery class not to be confused with the local pre-school. Our Nursery is an important part of our school and benefits from all the facilities and staff expertise found within the main school as well as providing a nurturing and caring start to a childs learning journey.
