School overview

Cross Keys Learning opened its first school in St Peter's, Broadstairs, Kent in September 2018 to provide a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment for Autistic students and those with social & communication difficulties. In 2022 the second site at Womenswold near Canterbury opened. Cross Keys Learning is an Independent Special School, judged as Good by OFSTED, registered to provide education for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students (11-17 years) with an Education Heath & Care Plan (EHCP). At Cross Keys, we believe in nurturing every child's unique potential with compassion, dedication, and understanding. Our mission is to create a safe, caring, and supportive environment where all students are listened to, and their needs are truly heard. We are committed to guiding them on their journey towards becoming confident, well-rounded individuals. Our school is designed to offer learning within small groups (5-7 students per group), offering a creative and meaningful curriculum which prepares our students for adulthood and life after school. We develop a passion for learning and a level of independence which helps young people thrive academically, socially, and emotionally; where every child receives the individual attention they need to succeed.
