Halley Primary School is an aspiring, one form entry community school situated in the heart of Stepney Green, a short distance from Canary Wharf. The School is named after Sir Edmond Halley, the astronomer royal which underpins Halley's unique identity. At Halley we are passionate that every child can succeed and that this is achieved through a team of dedicated staff and by building close working relationships with our families. We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive, rich and creative curriculum serving a multicultural community which has a strong commitment to UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) as well as our local history and geography. Our school motto: Including all learners, achieving their best. At Halley we are all learners, on a learning journey. What we want for our children is what we want for everyone. We recognise that all children have the right to learn (Article 28 of the CRC). We offer opportunities for parents to work alongside their children as well as the opportunity to attend a wide range of workshops.
