Linaker is a larger than average primary school located in the centre of Southport. The school is currently two form entry school, with a nursery for children aged 3 upwards. We have 15 classes: Nursery through to Year 6 with up to 30 children per class. The school has a separate Library, Designated Environment for Nurture (DEN), a pastoral support base (The SNUG), three large halls used for a variety of different activities throughout the week, a separate building for wrap-around care and three outdoor playgrounds/sports areas. We also have a purpose-built kitchen which enables us to prepare and cook the children's lunches fresh each day, with service then taking place across our two dining rooms. Our staff are talented, experienced and passionate about providing the best possible learning experiences. They always put the needs of the children, whether they be educational, personal or social, as their first and most important priority. They employ a range of teaching styles and techniques to enable the children to achieve the highest possible standards.
