We are an all through (KS1 KS4) alternative provision in Lambeth, providing education for pupils who, because of exclusion, illness or other reasons, would not otherwise receive suitable education; education arranged by schools for pupils on a fixed period exclusion; and pupils being directed by schools to off-site provision to improve their behaviour. We have two sites an SEMH site in West Norwood and a PRU site in Kennington. We also work directly with schools, offering respite placements on both sites across the key stages. Many of our learners have had an interrupted education on arrival, due to regular fixed term exclusions and disruptive behaviour, or SEN needs that have not been met or identified. We are keen to encourage our students to develop their consequential thinking, and to take responsibility for their behaviour and its consequences. We set clear rules, boundaries and expectations and they all have a consequence. We believe that every child deserves a second chance, and we hope that through personalised support, all of our students will realise their potential.
